Another great Prescott event this year, of course the weather was hot but that didn’t keep folks from flooding in. There was a very nice diversity in cars this year, a couple super kool early 50’s Hudsons (outstanding!) Gorgeous 1957 Oldsmobile 2dr. HD, 1939 Dodge Opera Coupe, a couple Ford Model A’s (epitome of hot rod kool) and one of the showstoppers was an absolutely stunning 1949 Plymouth Woody. Many other great examples of original condition muscle cars and even some British /Euro gems as well. Aside from always a promising swap meet of rare quality bits and bobs there were a few choice rods there for the purchase. A fella needs to start bringing a wad of cash LOL! Bargains of the day in my opinion were a early 50s Packard grill for $300 Best wall art you can buy for $300… and a 1930 chopped 5 window Dodge Coupe for only $4,000, very rare and super kool with knobs on. The lad that picked that Dodge up was one stoked puppy. Always a good day of fellowship with hot rodders and gearheads and a crowd that respects and honors our Nation and its Veterans. If you have never been, you are missing out, make sure to attend next year.
