I thought I would fill in while Jerry is off working on his SUMMER RV project… Less than a year ago, Roddin’ Arizona Newspaper didn’t have a booth at car shows. We were busy putting together the newspaper each month, but we were missing something important- the opportunity to meet many of you face-to-face. Since Chris and I started setting up at events, it has become one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. Even having my son Ian join us on occasion has made the experience even more special. Over the years, we’ve talked with you on the phone, exchanged emails, and worked together on advertising, stories, and events. But there’s something different about finally putting a face with a name or a voice. This past year we’ve enjoyed meeting the nicest readers, advertisers, owners, and enthusiasts (you know who you are) at the Martin Auto Museum, the Williams Route 66 Car Show, DINO’s, the VVSC, and ARC events. Every conversation has reminded us why this is so much more than just our vehicles. It’s about friendships, memories, families, and the incredible community that keeps Arizona’s automotive culture thriving. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, grab a paper, share a story, or just introduce yourselves. We truly appreciate it. We look forward to seeing many more familiar faces- and meeting plenty of new ones- at upcoming events for many years to come.
