Mark purchased his Bel Air two years ago in Chandler, AZ. The paint color is Hugger Orange with White Pearl accents. Under the hood, there’s a 383 Stroker Vortex engine with a new Holley 600 CFM carburetor. His wheels are chrome US MAG 15” on both the front and back. The chassis is stock, but he’s added traction bars and new KYB short shocks. The engine bay features a lot of chrome, including new chrome ‘Smoothie’ front and rear bumpers. He also installed new orange halo headlights with 25 LED running lights.

This was a ‘frame-off’ restoration, complete with a new wiring kit. Mark loves his new bucket seats from JEGS and installed orange LED lights under the seats. He cruises his ’55 down the road with a 6-speed TREMEC manual transmission and a wild cam, along with a ‘Fatman’ front end. The one-piece electric door windows are a great touch.

Some custom work was done by Bradley Restoration in Phoenix, while Mark did all the interior work on his ’55 himself. Many parts were ordered from Classic Industries. He’s put in thousands of hours working on his car, including lowering it by 3 inches. Mark loves meeting new people and driving his ’55. Wherever he goes, he gets tons of compliments.
