The MAG (Motorsport Auction Group) has again kicked off its Collector Car Auction year at the We- Ko-Pa Resort Casino near Scottsdale and Fountain Hills Arizona. The Friday and Saturday auction featured over 400 vehicles and scores of Automobilia items crossing the auction block. The four top-selling cars were a 1999 Ferrari 550 Maranello Coupe at $205,000 A 1967 Corvette Roadster with the 400 horsepower 427 V-8 engine sold for $172,000 Another ‘67 Corvette Coupe sold for $120,000 And a 1958 Chevrolet Impala convertible sold for $139,000. While l was there on Friday l heard the words SOLD SOLD SOLD many times. Total auction sales were right at 6 million dollars with a very good 64% sell-through rate. The next two collector car auctions on the 2023 MAG calendar are coming up May 19-20 in Salem at the Oregon State Fair & EXPO Center, and August 3-5 at the Reno/Sparks Convention Center as part of the Hot August Nights event.
