Martin Auto Museum Car Show & Flag Raising Ceremony

The Martin Auto Museum, founded by Mel Martin, proudly showcased its patriotism with a grand flagraising ceremony and an impressive car show. A passionate American, Martin has built a legacy that he acknowledges would not have been possible in any other country. To honor his love for the United States, he installed a towering 150-foot flagpole—10 feet of which is reinforced underground with rebar and concrete for added stability.

Atop this pole now flies a massive American flag, measuring 30 by 60 feet—about the length of 16 bumper-to-bumper 2025 Ford Mustangs. The display has been met with widespread admiration, further solidifying the museum’s reputation for celebrating American heritage.

Complementing the patriotic display, Nancy Perry Productions organized a packed car show that drew an overflow crowd of classic and custom vehicles. Enthusiasts filled every available space, turning the event into a sea of automotive excellence.

An Honor Guard from Luke Air Force Base led the stirring flag ceremony, creating a powerful moment of reflection and national pride. To commemorate the occasion, the first 100+ registered participants received steel appreciation plaques honoring their support.

The event was a resounding tribute to American pride, leaving attendees — including myself—grateful for patriots like Mel Martin, who continue to celebrate and honor this great nation.
