Green Valley Park Car Show

This October, Green Valley Park hosted another remarkable car show, with a spectacular turnout. While the final count remains uncertain, one attendee mentioned that they stopped counting after 268 cars! The festivities kicked off at 3 p.m. on Friday with a meet-up at Rumsey Park, followed by a classic cruise through town. New to the schedule this year was a pre-show party at the local bowling alley, which featured live performances from Downhill Fast and The Shake Bombs. Their rockabilly tunes set the perfect vibe for a weekend of hot rods and fun. Saturday morning revved up with the roar of engines as cars rolled into the park to secure their spots. As always, the show offered an incredible variety of vehicles, displayed against the lush green backdrop of the park—a rare sight for those coming up from Phoenix! Families enjoyed not just the cars, but also the vendors and the park’s scenic water feature. The highlight of the weekend came Saturday evening when a stunning fireworks display lit up the night sky, closing out the event with an unforgettable bang. Even self-proclaimed “non-fireworks fans” were impressed by the spectacular show.
