My name is Danny Fisher. I have been a drag racer from the time I received my driver’s license and now in my later years I have turned my attention to hot rods. I have been a car enthusiast for over 60 years. 55 -57 Chevy’s are my passion, but I also have a 36 Ford pickup and a 46 Dodge Pickup.

This 1957 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery was a car I have wanted for years. I finally found this cream puff about two years ago. Its beautiful fire engine red paint captured my eye and I have come to find out it captures others as well. It rolls on 18in Showtime wheels. Tony’s Pinstriping put the name of my business on the side, so it is now my company car. The car has a 350 Vortec engine with a 350 transmission. It runs a 650 Edelbrock carburetor. The interior is red as well with Chevy bowtie floor mats. It has air conditioning and power doors, but I have tried to keep it simple. I would like to thank George Herr for his help on many of my builds and Shirley McClure who is my car show buddy. Reeves Towing & Transportation LLC has been good to me over the years and so I can now afford to retire with style. RJ’s Automotive helps with mechanical and engine changes. Fred and Son’s Restoration take care of my heavy lifting when it comes to paint, and major changes. Most of the time I work on my own stuff with the help of Speedway Motors for parts. My kids Kim Auer, Michael Fisher, and Natalie Rose along with my seven grandkids and my six great grandkids are a tremendous support. They love to ride in “Papa Dan’s Hot Rod.” I would like to give a shout out to my daughter Natalie who has kept Reeves Towing and Transportation LLC running so that I can semi retire and have time to build my hot rods.
