My garage is a collection of 30 years of automotive memorabilia, car show awards, signs, slot machine, soda machines old and new, Rock-Ola, jukebox, Schwinn bikes, pinball, Betty Boop, Blues Brothers, Model A wall art display that has headlights that light up, they are the focus when sitting at the bar area. A 4-post lift, air compressor and a roll away tool box for keeping my cars at their best! At the center wall area is a Polly gas pump. It is very special to me because my mother’s name was Polly and she passed away in 1996. When I’m in the garage I feel she is there with me, because there are Polly gas neon and Polly signs. Having a few soda machines, and a full size refrigerator full of soda and favorite alcoholic beverages, friends and neighbors don’t want to go home! My wife Sherry and I have had several parties in the garage. Having 9- seats at the bar makes for great conversations and fun! Sherry recently picked up a 2002 Thunderbird so we will try to make room for the bird in the garage!
THE ’55 CHEVY
The 1955 Chevy 210 is a 5/year rotisserie frame off full restoration. The frame was powder coated and the body was striped and epoxy sealed and painted. Power plant is a 6.0 LS engine with Speed Master fuel injection. The transmission is a 4L60E automatic overdrive, and the rear end is an Eaton 9” posi with 3:89 gears. POL Performance suspension, Alden coil overs with Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes. Griffin radiator, Torque Thrust wheels with B.F. Goodrich rubber. The exhaust is Magnaflow so she sounds and handles as good as she looks! The interior is black leather with silver cloud inserts. Custom center console, Auto Meter gauges and Vintage Air, new glass, chrome tilt column, Lokar Shifter and power seats make the cabin very comfortable. I’m a proud owner of this Tri- Five Chevy, she has won several awards and is a pleasure to drive!
THE ’RED HOT’ ’41 WILLYS
I’ve always wanted a ’41 Willys Coupe and found ‘Lil Wily’ a few years ago in northern California. After fixing a couple leaks and adding a few personal touches she runs, drives, and handles like a dream!
‘Lil Wily’ is powered by a Street Performance Hemi with an Automatic overdrive transmission and Ford 9” posi with 3:91 gears. She has a custom powder coated tube frame with a 4-link suspension, Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes and A-1 coil over shocks in all four corners making her a pleasure to drive. The black custom leather interior with suicide electric doors, power windows and trunk. Pioneer sound, and Dakota Digital dash finish the feel inside the cockpit. On the outside, the PPG Scarlet red paint base and clear coat with custom lettered flames. Custom exhaust with Flo Master mufflers, American Racing Torque Thrust wheels and Toyo rubber makes her sing and Shine
