Despite skin cancer warnings and heat stroke alerts, the 2026 Rockabilly Bash turned out to be a massive success. I’ll admit—I expected things to be a little thin this year. I was wrong. Dead wrong. Mother Nature can throw everything she’s got at it, but she still can’t stop the music and car culture that define Rockabilly Bash. I rolled in Friday around 1:30 p.m., and the grass was already packed with stellar hot rods. Car clubs showed up strong: Rat Rod Addiction, 5150 Rat Rods, Leadfoots, The Checs, Red Devils, The Lordsmen, The Ghostriders, and plenty more. In short—the turnout was outstanding.
Huge respect goes out to the musicians and pin-up gals who hit the stage in that brutal heat and brought some real standouts, including Lean Canteen, Jane Rose, and local favorites The Devillains. These three absolutely stole the show—well done all around. As always, the caliber of hot rods at the Bash is something special. These aren’t trailer queens—these are true, blue-collar, “I drive my car” machines. That’s what makes this event what it is. And judging by the packed grounds, even record-breaking temperatures couldn’t keep people away.
If you didn’t make it, you missed out—plain and simple. Hats off to hosts Mark Krupa and Rachel Krupa for putting on another great event, and three cheers to the weekend’s MC, Lady Lexy. Folks, the Rockabilly Bash rolls around every March. That gives you a full year to get your ride ready. Don’t miss it next year.
