Vintage Iron And Restoration

On Wednesday Oct. 12th Mark Scalpone, Vintage Iron Restoration owner, welcomed the Cactus GTO club members to the shop. Pizza and refreshments were provided to the visitors along with tours of the Vintage Iron Restoration shop, which featured dozens of cool and interesting vehicles, that also included some Pontiac cars. About 25 to 30 cool Pontiac GTO’s, and some other neat Pontiacs showed up for the gathering. When the shop tours and pizza were finished, the regular Cactus GTO club meeting was held. One of the interesting stops was Mark’s 1972 Chevy El Camino that the shop has totally converted to electric power. The powerful twin-motored Elky is almost ready for cruising and will be on display at the Vintage Iron Restoration booth during the Goodguys 25th Speedway Motors Southwest Nationals on Nov. 18-20 at Westworld in Scottsdale.
