It’s always fun and interesting when l visit Vintage Iron & Restoration in Scottsdale, because there are so many neat vehicles being worked on there. I think they have at least 8-10 lifts and every one is in use. Here are a FEW examples; A 1955 Chevy 3100 pickup has been retro-fitted with a Total Cost Involved Air-Ride chassis, that includes tubular control arms in the front. Vintage Iron built and installed the warmed-up 355 small block engine and the 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. They also installed a Wilwood power disc brakes system on all four corners. New wiring front to rear is also part of this special build and so much more. Progress continues on a complete ground-up full custom build of a 1968 Ford Bronco. The engine is a 400+ horsepower Ford 5.0 Coyote V-8 hooked to a Ford 6 speed automatic overdrive transmission, that’s then hooked to a new Atlas II 4×4 transfer case, plus much much more on this build. A cool-looking ‘55 Ford F-100 pickup has been upgraded with an in-house-built Ford 347cid small block stroker V-8 and a Tremec TKX 5 speed manual transmission and hydraulic clutch. A Classic Auto Air A/C system, power steering, all new front to rear wiring and front disc brakes will transform this old farm truck into a street cruiser. An all original ‘69 Mustang MACH I is being converted from automatic transmission to a new Tremec TKX 5 speed manual with hydraulic clutch. Full custom builds, Restomod builds, complete to partial restorations, mechanical repairs and upgrades are all available at Vintage Iron & Restoration in Scottsdale. Call them at 480-922-2480.
