The Body Shop

The Body Shop has been in business for several decades. They work on both older and newer vehicles, doing complete to partial restorations and doing collision repairs as well. Shown here are examples of both services. A silver 1963 Corvette Restomod with a 500 horsepower LS3 engine has received a host of cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. It got an updated interior, a new larger gas tank, a new Lokar floor shifter for its 6L60E automatic overdrive transmission, new door latches, new custom-made stainless steel exhaust side pipes and other upgrades. A 1964 Chevy panel truck came into The Body Shop with a 454 engine and 700R4 AOD transmission that were not installed correctly. The shop pulled the drivetrain and re-installed it properly. They also installed new front disc brakes and an Old Air Products A/C and heater system. New front to rear wiring and several other mechanical and performance upgrades were also added. The Body Shop and Wilson’s Hot Rods did a joint restoration on a 1989 Chevy Suburban. Another joint project with Wilson’s Hot Rods is a straight-six powered 1956 Suburban Napco 4×4. This is a complete frame-off back to like brand new restoration. On the newer vehicle side, a 2003 Jeep Liberty and a 2019 Honda CRV are both receiving minor collision repairs.
