San Tan Hot Rods always has cool and interesting vehicles in the shop, here are a few recent examples. A beautiful ‘66 Chevy Nova is in to have its B & M supercharger rebuilt. Up on a lift, is a 1968 Camaro, that’s at San Tan Hot Rods, to basically have the shop finish putting the car together. The plumbing, electrical, tuning, suspension upgrades and long list of misc. items are on the work order. A 1972 Chevy pickup came into the shop with some serious engine fire damage. The gas tank was moved below the bed, and it will be going home with all new electrical and plumbing under the hood, also got a new hood, a new distributor, plug wires, basically everything that was damaged by the fire is being replaced. It also needed paint repair and paint matching. An Emerson 1964 Cobra replica is being mechanically upgraded, with new fuel and vacuum lines, complete brake job and complete engine tune-up. A ‘64 Pontiac GTO is being fitted with new front and rear suspension, new interior, new exhaust system and it gets an engine tune-up. A ‘55 Chevy has been fitted with a new 5.7 (350cid) Vortec V-8 and a new transmission. Plus, all of the required wiring and plumbing for that engine swap. It also gets new brakes. A ‘63 Ford F-100 pickup has been converted to a General Motors LS V-8 engine and AOD transmission and all required electrical, plumbing and tuning.
