San Tan Hot Rods, located near Queen Creek, Arizona, always has exciting projects in the works. Here are a few recent highlights:

An incredible 1963 Chevy Nova custom build is nearing completion. Featuring stunning bodywork with mini tubs, a show-stopping custom orange paint job, and a fully customized interior, this Nova is powered by a 6.2L LS3 V-8 paired with a 4L65 automatic overdrive transmission and a 9″ Ford rear end—along with countless other upgrades.

A 1962 Ford F-100 Unibody pickup is receiving major enhancements, including a Mustang II rack & pinion steering system and a new Currie 9″ Ford rear end to replace the worn-out original. The unibody has been removed from the frame, which is undergoing a full rust and grime removal process using the shop’s brand-new ADVANCED Laser Equipment—a cutting-edge technology that can restore both large components like frames and smaller parts with precision. The ’62 Ford will also be outfitted with a fresh 302 V-8, an automatic overdrive transmission, and additional performance upgrades.

A one-owner 1992 Camaro is being meticulously prepped for a factory-original paint restoration.

A 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 is in the final stages of a full bumper-to-bumper restoration, complete with mechanical and performance enhancements.

A 1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe is undergoing a complete body prep and paint restoration, along with engine work and other refinements.

A 1975 Chevrolet K-10 pickup had a rusted-out bed area, which was restored using San Tan Hot Rods’ advanced laser rust removal machine. Afterward, the bed was paint-matched to seamlessly blend with the truck’s rear.
