Rip’s Performance

Rip’s shop in Apache Junction Arizona has done several jobs for me in the recent past. They specialize in differentials, suspensions, drive shafts and they do a lot of other mechanical repairs and upgrades, including building, maintaining, and repairing dirt track race cars. On this day, they were doing repairs and welding on an open car trailer. I asked Rip if that was part of their services, he said yes we work on almost anything. My trailer will be going to him very soon because the trailer brakes don’t work and the lights have never been right. A 1965 Cobra replica with a 4.6-liter Mustang Cobra V-8 engine was receiving some engine repairs including new head gaskets and they built a new driveshaft for it. Speaking of drive shafts, Rip’s Performance shop builds drive shafts for everything from big rig trucks to small UTV off-road vehicles. Up on a lift, was a 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport with the 4.0 straight-six engine. They had already rebuilt the front differential in the past, it was back this time for a rebuild of the rear diff.
