Rip’s Performance

Rip’s Performance is a specialty shop that does a variety of mechanical upgrades, repairs, custom builds or rebuilding of differentials, building or rebuilding automotive driveshafts, including over-the-road diesel trucks, and they are also a race car shop, where they build and maintain circle track race cars. They do engine building, suspension repairs and upgrades and they even do maintenance and repairs on trailers and so much more. Here are a few recent examples in the shop. A 1951 Chevy pickup that’s mounted on an S-10 frame, is being fully re-wired, including all new gauges. The shop is installing a freshly built Chevy small block V8 and Turbo 400 transmission and a new floor shifter, plus all required plumbing. There were several driveshafts to be rebuilt and then computer spin balanced. Two of these driveshafts are destined for electric-powered delivery vehicles. A custom built 9″ Ford rear differential was almost finished. Rip’s Performance is open from 8-5 Monday through Friday, closed on the weekends. Call them at 480-288-1924.
