Some of the specialties at Majors Classic Cars in Gilbert, are doing complete vehicle inspections, diagnostics of problems and doing repairs. They do lots more than that, including restorations and have a complete in-house Upholstery Shop. The photos shown here are just a few recent examples. A 1977 Chevy pickup is receiving a differential rebuild, some front pulley repairs and new performance shocks. A ‘1941 Chevy is getting a basic upgrading to put it back on the road. A 1970 Dodge and a 1967 Dodge are both undergoing a complete vehicle inspection, so the owner knows what’s needed. A ‘65 Mustang is receiving a simple carburetor tune-up. A ‘65 Oldsmobile Cutlass needs some engine tuning, a gas tank renewal and a carb rebuild. A ‘92 Camaro gets a new oil pump, new valve cover gaskets and the Upholstery Shop will install a new headliner. Also in the Upholstery Shop underway, complete interior on a ‘69 Plymouth Fury convertible. Almost finished, is the complete all new back to original interior on a 1972 Buick Skylark four door. It got new carpeting, headliner, door panels, everything. A 1956 Chevy 210 four door is also getting an all new original type interior, plus, the shop is doing an exterior restoration as well. On the Engine Run Stand is the V-8 engine from a 1953 Buick Skylark. The shop completely rebuilt it and its transmission. Progress continues on a complete bumper to bumper restoration of a 1974 Bronco, which will retain its patina paint job. As mentioned, these are just a few recent examples.
