Here are several great examples of the work you can have done at Major’s Classic Cars in Gilbert. Up on a lift is an amazing full custom ’66 Mustang, that came into the shop to be converted from carburetor to a Holley EFI system. The shop has also rebuilt the car’s power rack and pinion steering, they also installed a new clutch. A concourse-quality original 265 V-8 powered 1955 Chevy Bel Air is receiving a complete bumper-to-bumper mechanical inspection and then repair of any problems they discover. A 1963 Corvette Roadster convertible with 327 V-8, had its 4 speed transmission, shifter linkage and carburetor rebuilt. The shop also converted the front brakes to Wilwood disc brakes. Another lift holds a 1965 Mustang Fastback, receiving a complete mechanical restoration of the suspension, brakes and steering. Shown is the bare frame from a 1967 Pontiac GTO. The frame has been completely stripped down and then powder-coated as part of the complete frame-off restoration on this muscle car. Another GTO, a 1968 convertible will be getting a brand new crate engine and new turbo 400 transmission. Plus, the Major’s Classic Cars techs are doing a complete front to rear American Auto Wire rewiring on the car. The Major’s Classic Cars Upholstery Shop has been very busy, including just now finishing a complete interior and exterior trim restoration that includes a new vinyl top on a huge four-door 1973 Oldsmobile 98.
