There are always cool and interesting vehicles at the Loper’s Service Center in Phoenix, here are a few recent examples. A 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air is receiving a complete rebuild of its original 235cid straight six engine and its two-speed automatic transmission. A 1964 Chevy Bel Air 4 door came into the Loper’s shop with a poorly performing engine that was built by another shop. The Loper’s crew will do what’s needed to make it perform better and install a complete Vintage Air A/C system. The Loper’s Service Center installed a new GM Performance small block crate engine into an early 50’s Chevy custom pickup. They are now doing the final Dyno tuning to achieve maximum performance for the customer. A beautiful 1964 Cadillac El Dorado received a complete rebuild of its 472 cubic inch V-8 engine and then the final Dyno tuning. Another car that needed Dyno tuning is a 1957 Chevy Bel Air, that first had its Holley carburetor rebuilt by the Loper’s crew. There are several vehicles waiting to get into the service bays including a 1956 Chevrolet convertible and a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. Each one will receive a complete comprehensive tune-up. The 383-powered Road Runner is going to receive some transmission linkage adjustments. The Loper’s Performance Center is loaded with name-brand performance and racing parts.
