Lopers Service & Performance Center

The Loper’s Service Center always has cool and interesting vehicles in the works, here are some recent examples. The 327cid engine in a factory fuel injected 1963 Corvette was rebuilt by the Lopers Service Center back in 1984. The Vette has returned after 38 years and has received another engine rebuild. A red 1958 Chevy pickup is in for a complete front suspension rebuild. A 1970 Chevy El Camino SS 454 is being fitted with a completely new exhaust system including two new Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers. A very nice 1972 Ford F-250 pickup came into the shop with a FAST EFI system that wasn’t properly installed. The Loper’s mechanics are in the process of re-installing it and getting it tuned and working properly. A way cool 1960’s Jaguar XK Coupe with A 302 Ford V-8, required a full rebuild of the engine and the shop has also installed a Holley HPE multi-port fuel injection system that also incorporates an Edelbrock elbow throttle body. The Jag will also spend time on the Loper’s in-house chassis dyno for final tuning. On the dyno on this day, was a 1969 Mustang that was being tuned for the use of E-85 fuel. An awesome looking 1936 Hudson Pro-Street pickup with a bad-ass engine is in the Loper’s Service Center to fix an overheating problem. The Loper’s Service Center also rebuilds engines and they have built up a Dodge Viper V-10 engine to over 700 naturally aspirated horsepower. There are some new offerings inside the fully-stocked Loper’s Performance Center. You can now buy Whipple Superchargers for Dodge (shown) GM and Ford. GV Gear Vendors under-overdrive units are now available. All of the Tremec transmissions and related products are also available.
