Lopers Service & Performance Center

For well over 50 years, Loper’s Performance & Service Center at 902 E. Indian School Rd. near downtown Phoenix has been serving customers with performance parts and service needs.

A 1968 Camaro came in with a vibration while driving, which was solved by re-balancing the driveshaft. A green 1970 Camaro with a twin turbocharged LS V-8 arrived as an unfinished project and will leave as a tuned and finished ride. A 1999 Ford Lightning had its 5.4-liter V-8 fully rebuilt along with its supercharger. A 1992 Ford F-250 was upgraded with a Holley EFI unit, a new Holley Hyper-Spark system, and a new transmission controller, then fully tuned on Loper’s in-house chassis dyno. A 1974 Ford LTD received miscellaneous repairs, including sealing some engine oil leaks. A 1964 Ford Thunderbird needed a new timing chain cover plus carburetor repairs and tuning. A 1962 Chevy Impala Low Rider came in with A/C vent, wiring, and brake system issues—all of which are being diagnosed and repaired. A 1970 Chevy El Camino is getting all-new front suspension components, a new A/C condenser, and an R134 conversion.

Loper’s Service Center can handle just about anything—from repairs and upgrades to in-house dyno testing and exhaust system work. They also take on complete custom builds. A great example is a 1930 Ford Model A in the finishing stages of a frame-off, back-to-original restoration. Another 1930 Model A pickup is already waiting in the wings.
