Shown here are three recent cars at Interstate Custom Interiors in Chandler. The 1962 Corvette received an entirely new custom-created leather interior that included new factory-style door panels and kick panels. The bucket seats and dash were also clad in leather. The floors and trunk received custom tailored square weave carpet, plus custom leather side panels in the trunk. A 1969 Pontiac Firebird came into the shop with new TMI bucket seats. Nick and his guys needed to create a new smaller rear seat with new foam and bolsters to match the bucket seats. The rear seat needed to be smaller, because the Firebird had been modified with rear wheel tubs that extended into the rear seating area. New custom-made rear side panels were also created. My (Jerry Hutchcroft) 1978 Chevy Nova hatchback only had a non-working original AM radio, so I had the shop install a brand new Alpine AM-FM stereo with Bluetooth and other modern upgrades. They also wired and installed two new Rockford Fosgate 6” x 9” speakers into simple speaker boxes that they sat in the rear area. I will figure out later where to permanently mount those speakers. The new stereo sounds fantastic, now l just need to learn how to use that Bluetooth whatever that is. Call Interstate Custom Interiors at 480-861-2351. Please mention Roddin’ & Racin’ when you call.
