This Apache Junction husband and wife business does just about everything related to working on and restoring older vehicles and they also have a full custom upholstery shop. from both of their shops. At Arizona Hot a one-of-a-kind custom build on a 1967Ford Mustang
convertible. They are converting it to look like a 1968 Mustang Fastback. This may be the first such conversion ever done. We’ll have more updates as this project moves forward. A 1964 Chevy pickup is back in the shop for another round of mechanical and performance upgrades. Progress continues on a 1929 Ford Model A Hot Rod with a complete custom build-up. When the hot rod shop is finished with the build, the Custom Stitching shop will create a completely new custom leather interior for it. Up on a lift, a 1994 GMC pickup with a Pro-Charged LS 5.3 liter V-8 is receiving a full rebuild of its 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission by the FOX Performance Transmission division at the Arizona Hot Rod shop. A 1957 Chevy former drag race car has been converted back to a street-legal cruiser. The job included the complete installation of a GM 6.2 liter LS3 V-8, now with over 500 horsepower. The Custom Stitching shop will also be creating a completely new Italian Leather custom interior. A unique 1959 Ford convertible is receiving some mechanical upgrades and will be getting a new rear plastic window for its convertible top (not an easy job). A 1940 Chevy Hot Rod is receiving a completely new custom Italian leather interior. The front seats from a Cadillac will also be redone. One of the Custom Stitching shop’s 58” custom bench seats (several bench seat sizes and bucket seats are also available) is being built in Dixon purple plaid flannel as a tribute to the customer’s wife who lost her battle with cancer.
