There are always cool and interesting vehicles at these husband and wife owned shops in Apache Junction. At Custom Stitching they were busy re-doing the front and rear seats from a 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille convertible. The custom double-stitched diamond plate design was sawn on the shop’s brand new U.S.A. made CNC stitching machine. Two other brand new U.S.A. made machines are now in the shops. One is a Raised 3-D Printer and the other is an STV CNC Sparx Plasma Cutting table. Both machines are available for your custom projects. A custom-designed bench seat cover was created for a 1973 Chevy C-30 pickup. The design includes flannel inserts to match the popular Dixxon plaid shirt. A set of the shop’s custom-made bucket seats were being created for a 1957 Chevy Nomad. In the AZ Hot Rod Shop, that ‘57 Nomad was being converted from a 6 speed manual transmission, to a 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission. A 1957 Chevy pickup is undergoing a major transformation. The supercharged LSA-powered truck is receiving a custom fabricated stainless steel exhaust system, and many other mechanical upgrades and a full custom leather interior. A mild mannered 1965 Pontiac GTO convertible is being transformed into a WILD CRUISER featuring a supercharged Don Hardy built 850 horsepower LS based engine and AZ Hot Rod Shop race built 4L80E AOD transmission.
