Lucky Luciano Custom Paint

Wow, Lucky has a very unique and interesting vehicle in the shop right now. It’s a 1956 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud four door sedan. The big Rolls came into the shop having already been modified into a two door roadster. There was no engine or transmission or interior. Lucky is in the process of completely finishing the rough car and getting it ready for a custom paint job, but before that, the car will go to another shop, where the body will be fitted onto a custom Art Morrison chassis. Plus, while there, it will also have a complete ELECTRIC drivetrain installed, then come back to Lucky’s for final prep and painting. Full custom interior by another shop is also part of the project. When Lucky is finished with this first part, he will then start on a sister car, a 1961 Bentley, that will go through the exact same transformation. One car will be black, the other car will be white. We’ll have more updates on these cars as they move forward in the process. A 1963 Chevy Nova was fitted with a new steel hood that required some fitting modifications and the color matched the paint. He then installed new rubber seals around the doors and trunk. He also did a full sand and buff on the paint job. A 2010 Lincoln Town Car is being fully prepped for a Lucky paint color change. As always, the car’s trim and accessories are removed for a professional paint job. Another Lincoln, a 2018 MKZ Black Label has had a complete chrome and trim conversion to gloss black. Every piece had to be meticulously sanded so the glossy paint would last. And, a brand new 2025 Lincoln Navigator is in the process of a gloss black conversion, that will include all chrome, trim, and wheels, plus, the top will also be converted to gloss black. Again, the car requires so much attention to detail, even the headliner has to come down to properly paint the top.
