TGK Automotive is a general automotive repair shop in Chandler, that also features an in-house Hot Rod repairs and upgrades department. Plus, they have an in-house Mustang MD-250 chassis dyno facility. Here are a few recent examples. A 1939 Chevy Hot Rod came in with serious engine department fire damage. The TGK techs completely repaired the damage and now the car will be going for some paint repair. A ’63 Corvette convertible is being upgraded with some modern upgrades; 4 wheel Wilwood disc brakes, a Tremec 5 speed transmission, McLeod clutch, Borgeson power steering and new wheels & tires. A Cobra replica’s 460cid Ford V-8, is receiving a Holley Sniper II, and a new Ron Davis aluminum radaitor with twin electric fans. A 2004 Chevy SSR will be fitted with a new 630 horsepower 434cid LS V-8 engine and all related upgrades. On the general automotive side, a 2003 Cadillac Escalade is receiving a remanufactured Jasper 6.0 LS engine. The original Whipple supercharger will be fully inspected and upgraded if needed.
