Car Show-Fund Raiser – June 29, 2024

In 2024, the Quad Cities of Northern Arizona saw the debut of the Legacy Car Show, hosted by the Dreams in Motion Car Club alongside Phoeniguera Classics and Finest. Held in Prescott Valley on the last Saturday in June, this Hotrods-Classics-Lowriders Car Show and fundraiser was an overwhelming success.
The event supported Yavapai College’s CTech Division, a crucial program for training future motorheads and preserving automotive culture. With state-of-the-art facilities, the program prepares students for high-demand jobs in fields like Automotive, Diesel, Mining, Aerospace Science, and more. Funds also benefited the local elderly population.
Yavapai College in Prescott Valley provided an ideal venue for the nearly 140 classic cars in attendance. Registration was quick and efficient, and the $25 entry fee was well worth it. The show featured a diverse array of vehicles, from mild customs to muscle cars, rat rods, and hot rods. Lowriders and bombers stood out, with even a bicycle class to inspire future enthusiasts.
The day was packed with activities, including raffles, DJ-spun rock’n’roll music, and delicious offerings from food trucks. Judging was well-organized, with a “Top 20” award system and additional categories like Best Show, Best Custom, and Best Pinstriping. Participants were warmly thanked by Club members as they departed, adding a final touch of appreciation.
Mark your calendars for 2025—this is a must-attend event. Dreams in Motion Car Club, based in Prescott Valley, is a family-oriented group that meets monthly and cruises twice a month. If you have a lowrider or bomber, connect with them to enjoy great company and preserve Motorhead Culture.
