Hope Fest AZ 2026 - Roddin' Arizona Newspaper

The Annual Hope Fest car show returned to the Prescott County Courthouse along Whiskey Row.

This is a gathering of service organizations and local businesses for the Hope Serves Family Resource Fair that includes a Car & Motorcycle Show, live music, a Fun Zone, and vendors in this great setting. The Hope Serves Family Resource Fair event is in its 13th year, and while its roots are grounded in recovery, it has grown by connecting resources and needs to those in our community. Hope Fest’s mission is to serve our veterans, active military, first responders, and the vulnerable of Yavapai County. It was an honor to be a participant and support this local endeavor.

The event has limited space for classics and usually fills up every year — this year being no exception. Smart folks pre-registered for Advanced Registration, which got you a Quick Pass. By the way, if you wanted to park as a group, you had to arrive together to keep parking of classics moving quickly. They did include a free T-shirt for the first 50 registered. We never did get one, as they ran out before we could — oh well, like I need another car T-shirt. I did like the way we entered at registration; you could line up on Montezuma or Goodwin and feed in from both streets, keeping traffic blockage from side streets to a minimum. Awards were presented promptly at 1:30 pm and the show was over at 2 pm as scheduled.

This event is a great cause for our community, and I recommend adding it to your event list next year. It was great to see fellow motorheads, check out the rides, and have a great breakfast. A few of us found a seat at Dinner Bell Cafe, a cozy place for great breakfast and lunch. Limited seating, but worth the wait if you have to. They have huevos rancheros as well as chicken fried steak & eggs for those looking for a full meal. We enjoyed the food and the service was great. They are open from 7 am to 2 pm — ya gotta try it if you are downtown. Other choices were The Apple Pan, Bistro St. Michael, and vendors in the courthouse square, to name a few.

This was a great year for participation, and the funds raised in this one-day event support and recognize our first responders, veterans, and active-duty, and help those in need in Yavapai County. A great opportunity to show support for our community!
