HONORING OUR VETERANS:

HAVASU CLASSICS CAR CLUB’S ANNUAL TRIBUTE

One of the most important things we have in this world is our freedom, and that freedom comes from the dedication of our veterans. The Havasu Classics Car Club proudly hosted its annual Veterans Tribute, a heartfelt celebration recognizing and supporting American veterans.

The 2024 event was no exception—held in early November, nearly 500 car enthusiasts and over 2,000 spectators gathered at Lake Havasu State Park to honor our veterans. With free spectator admission, the event showcased close to 300 stunning hot rods, classics, trucks, customs, and even big rigs!

Derek, Tammy, and the entire Havasu Classics Car Club crew put together a tribute that will be hard to top. The day was packed with incredible vehicles, music, delicious food, refreshing beverages, raffles, and, of course, the ever-popular 50/50 drawing. Attendees also had the chance to grab some stylish event T-shirts—because let’s be honest, we all have a drawer full of them!

This marked the 18th year that the Havasu Classics Car Club has honored veterans, and the event had a meaningful impact beyond the celebration itself. A total of $12,500 was raised for American veterans’ organizations in the Lake Havasu City area. These funds help local veterans in need, providing crucial financial assistance. The club is honored and humbled to give back to the brave men and women who fought for our freedom.

For participants, the event offered both preregistration and same-day registration. Parking was easy, with plenty of space to open doors comfortably. The entire day was well-organized, with a clean venue, smooth logistics, and a drama-free atmosphere.

The background music throughout the day added to the vibe of the overcast weather—neither too hot nor too cold. Attendees enjoyed a variety of food options and explored vendor booths. Raffle prizes were in abundance, giving everyone a chance to win something special while supporting a great cause.

Kudos to the Havasu Classics Car Club for another fantastic tribute to our veterans. Their dedication not only brings the community together but also directly benefits those who have served. We look forward to next year’s event and an even bigger show of appreciation for our heroes!
